Empathy is being able to identify with, and feel the concerns, feelings and needs of another person. A person of empathy is able to listen sensitively, understand and lovingly “be with” another person. Empathy is at the heart of the ministry of Jesus who first sought to love and understand the people he later healed, and empathy is also at the heart of discipleship.
Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit,
sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart and a humble mind.

Sacred Heart School is a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 school community located in Teeswater. We are proud of our history of Catholic Education and the success of our graduates as they continue to high school, post secondary education and employment. Our board motto of 'Let Your Light Shine' compliments and supports our school motto of 'Together we Grow~Together we Succeed'.
Our school staff is committed to the development of the whole child and knows each of the students. We plan for success of all students and staff and set high standards for ongoing growth in spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical development.
